Neuropsychologist · CBT psychologist

Cognitive assessments and
cognitive behavioural therapy.

After twelve years in hospital practice, I am setting up a private practice to offer what an institutional setting rarely allows: the long time that comes after the assessment. Understanding your results, and above all turning them into concrete levers in your everyday life.

Children · Teenagers · Adults · Older adults, in Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes and the surrounding area

How it works today

Two ways to consult me

The practice in Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes will open shortly. In the meantime, two formats are available, depending on what you need.

  • CBT psychotherapy, by video consultation

Once the appointment is confirmed, a secure video link is sent to you before the session. Payment is made by bank transfer before the session.

  • Neuropsychological assessment, at your home

I travel to you, in Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes and the surrounding towns.

Understanding

What is neuropsychology?

A scientific discipline that studies the links between brain function, behaviour and mental processes.

Its subject is the assessment and understanding of cognitive functions: the set of intellectual and behavioural capacities that allow us to interact with our environment every day (attention, memory, language, executive functions, visuospatial and visuoconstructive abilities, gnosis, praxis and social cognition).

A neuropsychologist is a psychologist, not a doctor. The assessment does not produce a medical diagnosis on its own: it documents how your cognition works, how consistent that is with your everyday difficulties, and what can be done about it.

Who you will be working with

A hospital background, a private practice

I qualified as a psychologist at the University of Strasbourg (Master II in cognitive and clinical neuropsychology, 2014) and practised for twelve years at the Hôpitaux Robert Schuman in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, with patients of very varied profiles, from adults to the very old.

I now focus on neurodevelopmental conditions and anxiety disorders. These are fields I know well, through clinical practice and through a sensitivity that helps me understand the mechanisms at work and the everyday obstacles they create.
